This is a guided tour designed for those who crave bumpy, dusty and dirty driving thrills and is a unique way to enjoy the Icelandic nature. It’s a fantastic adrenaline treatment and there is no extra charge for dust, mud, water splashes, or even snow! The tour is available all year round and is enjoyable in all weather – yes, even in rain… The Wetter the Better!
We are based only 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. Get dressed in our waterproof gear, strap into your two-seat Buggy and prepare to overcome obstacles in the rugged landscape by the slopes of Esja, the city mountain.
We drive directly onto bumpy mountain roads, climb hills, cross rivers, and splash around. We stop mid-way for the view, to take photos and to change drivers should you and your travel partner both want to experience the joy of driving a Buggy. You can also book a private buggy to get more driving time, but we promise that being a passenger is also brilliant fun.
All you need is a spirit for adventure, and a valid driving license for the driver!
Itinerary
This is a one hour long guided tour designed for those who crave bumpy, dusty and dirty driving thrills.
We are based only a 20 minute drive from downtown Reykjavik and we provide pickup on request. When you arrive at our base you receive waterproof gear before you strap into your two-seat Buggy and drive directly onto bumpy mountain roads, climb hills, cross rivers, and splash around. No time is wasted on tarmac!
We stop mid-way to enjoy the view, take photos and to swap drivers.
Our CFMOTO ZFORCE 800cc and 1000cc Buggies are equipped with a 4-point safety harness, a roll-cage and automatic transmission for driving ease and safety… allowing you to drive faster and have more fun!
Meeting Point
Please make sure to arrive at our base camp 15 minutes prior to tour departure. We are located at Kistumelur 9, about 20 minute drive out of the city center, road 1 northbound.
